Our Yoga Space Mosman Dan Barley
  • Dan began his yoga journey 12 years ago rehabbing injuries from childhood leaving him with limited mobility in his hips & spine and significant pain when walking. Through a regular yoga practice Dan began to experience the holistic benefits of a consistent practice focused on doing the basics well & building stronger, more mobile joints. Incorporating traditional strength training, mobility & gymnastic inspired movements into his training he deepened his practise and understanding of his physical limitations & began to explore it’s potential.

After completing his Yoga Teacher Training in 2018, Dan went on to study under Brady Hay who introduced Ayurveda & Tantra into his practises which have gone on to impact every aspect of his personal practise & teaching style.

His classes focus on a functional flow, connecting to your body, understanding how it can move & how to start to break the habitual movement patterns that cause imbalances & stiffness in the body.

He focuses on teaching students how to understand & own the range of motion they have & begin to explore their potential. Dan believes that breaking through our self-belief narrative barriers is the key to unlocking a more connected existence.

Dan’s an advocate for making his classes inclusive for all levels, keeping them challenging but fun, as he believes there should be an element of humour & levity in all aspects of our life.

  • Lyndsey is a teacher's teacher and has been practicing and studying yoga for nearly two decades. Her teaching journey began in Japan and then deepened through spending a number of years in and out of India.

In 2002 Lyndsey drew from her sports associated background to deliver yoga programmes for NZ All Blacks, Super Rugby & The Black Caps. Since 2008 Lyndsey has been an active and respected member of the Sydney Yoga Community. Most recently Lyndsey has been a vital component of the national yoga training for Fitness First.

Our Yoga Space Mosman Phoebe Miller
  • A childhood spent dancing led Phoebe to pursue a career as a ballerina, for which she travelled to the USA for ongoing training, auditioning and work. Upon choosing to move away from performing, Phoebe took on the role of teacher and worked alongside many aspiring dancers as a coach.

Phoebe's journey into practicing yoga began in 2001. In yoga she discovered a pathway that enabled her to remain attuned with her body and to stay connected with the pleasure of movement and all its benefits. Phoebe's passion for yoga developed and evolved over the years, eventually leading her to a 200hr teacher training with the School of Sacred Arts in Ubud, Bali in 2014. Since then, Phoebe's teaching offerings have led her into yoga studios, preschools, corporate offices and ballet schools.

Honouring and respecting the body and discovering the joy of movement are central to Phoebe's personal philosophy, in both her classes and her own practice.

Our Yoga Space Mosman Nadia Nause

Our Yoga Space Mosman Kobie Tesoriero
  • Kobie is a 500Hr, Yoga Alliance certified teacher. She continues to be a student, having only scratched the surface of the teachings that originated more than 5000 years ago.

Kobie enjoys creating strong, wholistic hatha and flow practices. She likes to be creative and design practices around a theme with the intention of facilitating presence of body, breath and mind. So that when svasana ends there is a snippet of that revitalised presence and energy that is taken with you off the mat.

Kobie has practised yoga for over 25 years. Her love of movement began at the age of 6 and she danced 6 days a week throughout her school years. Now older and trying to be somewhat wiser, she has been fortunate to find teachers who guided a yoga practise beyond the physical movement, introducing other aspects; the philosophy, Ayurveda, using yoga as a connection that could provide a glimpse of clarity of mind, a connection to something greater, a connection to your true self. And most importantly, creating a healthy body and space to build a healthy mind.

Kobie has found yoga to have helped immensely in both her role as a wife and Mum of 2 boys and working full time in the corporate world of finance.

Our Yoga Space Mosman Joseph Rundle
  • Growing up in Japan, Joseph was inspired by the cultural and spiritual traditions of the Far East. As a young teen he practised meditation at the Eiheiji Temple, the first Zen Buddhist monastery in Japan. An Indian guru traveling to America introduced and inspired Joseph’s

practice of Hatha yoga. Meditation and yoga became two integral parts of his lifelong spiritual path. After a corporate career, Joseph obtained his Vinyasa yoga and Yin yoga teaching certificates. Joseph’s teaching emphasises mindful presence and connecting to one’s centre through movement, stillness, and breath. Joseph has 435 Hrs of yoga training and is a registered yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance as ERYT-350. Joseph actively teaches

vinyasa, hatha, yin yoga, and leads a meditation course called the Hush Hour at Our Yoga Space in Mosman. Joseph’s meditation course draws upon the wisdom traditions of Zen, Dzogchen, Advaita Vedanta, Taoism, and Sufism.

Our Yoga Space Mosman Kelsey Hendrickson
  • I'm Kelsey Hendrickson, psychotherapist / counsellor and yoga therapist. It wasn't always this way. I am a recovering stress head and former corporate marketing professional who wandered into my first yoga class in 2006 desperate to learn how to relax.

After embracing my own practice, I started teaching yoga in 2012, delighted to share the amazing practices I had come to love so dearly. Since then, I trained as a yoga therapist and expanded upon my Bachelor (with hons.) in Psychology by getting my Masters degree in Counselling and Applied Psychotherapy and an Advanced Clinical Training in Gestalt Therapy. Now I practice as both a yoga teacher and a psychotherapist / counsellor. I integrate embodiment (awareness of your body) practices and mindfulness into my therapy sessions and psychology into my yoga classes.

My passion is guiding you on your own journey towards a deeper awareness, appreciation and understanding of yourself. My classes include a lot of variations and options along with invitations to notice your breathing, the sensations in your body and how you're showing up on the mat. I encourage people who come to my class to listen to their inner wisdom as well all hold space together and for each other. I look forward to meeting you!
