Beautiful studio Our Yoga Space

Questions? Here’s a few that get sent our way often.

  • We have a friendly, down to earth community. We aspire to make each student feel comfortable at our space - from beginners to seasoned yogis alike. You can expect to find emphasis on tools that will help you wake up - so it's more than just fitness.

  • Totally. You're welcome to join into any of our regular classes - just let your teacher know you're just starting out. Remember, yoga isn't about performance so go at your own pace.

  • While you don't need to book for most classes, we love it when you do. It also means you don’t run the risk of missing out on a spot in your favourite class. If you don't book online, please come at least 10 minutes before class so we can allocate any available spots to you.

  • That depends. If you come once per week, you'll probably feel pretty good afterwards. If you come 2 -3 times per week, those good vibes will linger a little longer. 5 - 6 times per week and your yoga glow will become a permanent fixture.

  • We encourage you to bring your own mat wherever possible. We only have limited mats available for hire and don’t want you to miss out.

  • Please arrive 10 minutes before class as we cannot admit late students.

Leave your shoes on the steps.

Keep the shala quiet for students who wish to meditate before class. You can always chat in the reception area.

Turn your phone on silent when entering the studio. Please don't use your phone in the shala.

  • We advise that you have a medical practitioners clearance to attend yoga classes. After that, please let your teacher know you're pregnant, and how many weeks you are, and they will advise you about all the do's & don'ts of practicing as a mumma to be.

  • Please ensure you have your medical practitioners clearance to return to practice and then let your instructor know before class if you are working with an injury or obstacle. Your teacher will give you guidelines about how to adapt your practice - but remember if you feel pain - trust your body above all - and be gentle with yourself. Slow and steady is best.
