In this two day workshop you will learn how to channel this gentle soft healing energy, which can be included with any other hands on work. An Exploration of Restorative Yoga & Yoga Nidra with Kelsey Hendrickson 

In our busy, go go go lives, we can often forget to pause. 
This is your invitation to slow down, take a deep breath and fully relax.  

In this workshop we will discuss what rest means physically, emotionally and spiritually.  Kelsey (yoga teacher and psychotherapist in training) will guide you through a Restorative Yoga practice: long held, supportive poses that place the body into positions which encourage relaxation. We will finish with a blissful Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep): guided meditation done lying down that brings us into a deeper state of Self awareness. Welcoming us all home to ourselves.

Both practices are specifically designed to facilitate the parasympathetic nervous system (rest & digest)
or the relaxation response.  Moving us out of the often over active, sympathetic nervous system (the flight/fright/freeze stress response).  

When we live in a stressed state most of the day, essential processes such as digestion, immune function, and reproduction suffer.  

It is when we set up the conditions to relax that we can move out of stress and into rest & digest. It is then that our heart rate lowers, blood pressure drops; we heal, we nourish and we come into profound presence with ourselves just as we are.

About your trainer

Jo Phee ERYT500 Yoga Alliance Senior Teacher

Jo Phee is a senior trainer for Yin Yoga teachers around the world. She is the senior assistant to Yin Yoga founder Paul Grilley and teaches his training curriculum worldwide.

Jo is the first generation of Yin Yoga teachers trained by both Paul Grilley and Sarah Powers more than a decade ago. She has spent 3000 hours of apprenticeship with them and was personally tutored by Paul to teach his entire teacher training curriculum. With 19 years of yoga experience, Jo has accumulated more than 10,000 hours of teaching public Yin classes before becoming a full time travelling teacher 5 years ago.

Brought up with Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) from childhood by her Chinese Taoist parents, all of Jo’s initial education on TCM was based on practical knowledge passed down from generations in her Chinese family. To add theoretical basis to her personal experience, Jo went on to study at the Singapore College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Jo graduated from the Bihar School of Yoga where she took rigorous examination to teach the original Yoga Nidra practice developed by Swami Satyananda of the Bihar School. Her formal education in this practice and knowledge of the Chinese Meridian system inspired her to develop a systematic and detailed outline of a new practice – Meridian Nidra. Jo was the first Yin Yoga teacher to introduce a comprehensive Chinese Medicine module, “Guasha” treatment, Acupressure and Myofascial Release into Yin Yoga teacher training programs worldwide.

Driven by a profound interest in functional anatomy and fascia studies, Jo attends human cadaver dissection labs every year in the United States and Europe. She has 500 hours of dissection lab experience and has studied up to 40 cadaver specimens to-date, including a dedicated neuroanatomical dissection of the brain and spinal cord. Jo studied Anatomy and Kinesiology at Marquette University in Wisconsin and Myofascial Release at the John Barnes MFR Institute. She has attended fascia school at Ulm University Germany and the Anatomical Institute of Leipzig University. She is a founding member of the Fascia Research Society and is currently involved as a team member to create the world’s first human fascial plastinate in Guben, Germany.

Jo’s teachings are a blend of the science of Western Anatomy fused with Eastern Medicine and Philosophy. She resides in Singapore but spends majority of the year traveling the world delivering Yin Yoga Teacher Training programs. She has taught more than 70 Yin Yoga Teacher Trainings worldwide. All her trainings are endorsed by Paul Grilley and Sarah Powers.

The equinox occurs twice a year (spring 
and autumn) when the day and night are of equal lengths. In ancient times, the vernal equinox was a period of celebration - a gathering to plant new seeds, welcome 
in new life and start new beginnings.

Join Galina (meditation teacher) and Kelsey (yoga therapist) to honour this sacred time in the year when we transition from winter to spring. We will practice a Yin Yoga sequence balancing the wood element and working with the liver and gallbladder meridians. Following with an energising Gong Meditation session to help you shed your winter coat.

Join Em Cruickshank, Yin and Meditation Specialist and Sara Carter, Kinesiologist and Yin Yoga Teacher,  in the first collaboration of this kind. 

This  2 ½ hour journey has been designed as an empirical education into the deep wisdom of the self - a felt exploration. 

Combining the sublime practice of yin yoga, and muscle testing of Kinesiology, we work seamlessly, using the touch of breath and hand together, to restore ease and grace to the flow of your energy~your chi.

Opening with a sublime meditation and an extended breath practice we begin to bring ourselves into a state of grounded awareness, drawing our attention to  ourselves - a gentle release of the outer world and a connection to the inner space.

We begin our physical practice experience with simple Kinesiology testing to determine areas that require your illumination through your chi. Your own personal map from which to navigate this sublime experience.

We dive together into subtle chi work, seeking to gently remove stagnant chi and restore a vibrant flow through the meridians and linked muscles.

In this 2 hour journey together, Em and Suzy will combine the practice of yin and chi flow with the incredible healing properties of Alchemical Crystal Singing bowls , the perfect synergy to open you to the present moment and surrender.

The pure frequencies that emanate from quartz crystal, and the alchemy of different gems and metals, work through the Quantum field, creating unique toroidal vortices that resonate with individual organs and cells of your body; cleansing, activating and raising their frequency, helping tobring them back into balance.

Learn the basics of the bandhas - the yogic energy locks. Through this workshop, Ryan will guide you into a deeper connection to your own body and connect you to your emotional storehouse, the stomach.

Bandha means to lock, close-off, to stop. In the practice of a Bandha, the energy flow to a particular area of the body is blocked. When the Bandha is released, this causes the energy to flood more strongly through the body with an increased pressure. This workshop will show you how to effectively and safely start applying the Bandhas to your regular yoga practice, which will clear the blockages in body, energy and mind that prevent you from a consistently joyful life.

By attending this workshop you will bridge the gap between generic asana and the deeper, more powerful practices of yoga by building the energy that removes limiting beliefs and self-destructive patterns which can block you from living to your potential.

Our hands and wrists are capable of an array of movements and enable us to achieve very complex tasks. 3pm - 4pm- we have the incredible Steve and Vanessa from Heart Sound who will be sending out the vibes of gratitude through an epic sound journey. Using the primordial essences of Multiple Black Hemp Didgeridoos interwoven by the mystical sounds of the Mayan Temple Drone Flute and Sacred Chanting by Vanessa we will be guided together towards deep relaxation! A little gift of bliss amongst the busyness of the silly season!

4pm - 5pm- nibbles, love and laughter and some very cool lucky door prizes

What do I need to know:
• limited spaces of 30 for the sound healing so jump online and book your space early. It will be cosy as we really want to fit as many of you beautiful peeps in as we can - so expect some cosy vibes.


• BYO mat and soft blanket type thing to make sure you are super comfy

This 1.5hr Group Crystal & Sound Healing experience with Laura Gutierrez has been designed to support you in the harmonisation of your whole being - mind, body & spirit. 

This workshop asks nothing of you - all you need to do is lie down, relax, and receive. You don't even need to worry about staying awake - as the process will work even if you drift off.  The frequencies of crystals and intentional sounds used during the session will be your support for deep healing and transformation to happen.

We are super excited to welcome Vedic Meditation teacher Jo Amor to teach at our studio in November!

A regular meditation practice is fast becoming a necessary tool for wellbeing. We are in the midst of a stress epidemic and must learn how to tap into an inner stillness which cannot be found in the ever changing outside world.


Vedic Meditation is a popular technique for its simplicity, profound benefits and ease with which it can be incorporated into our busy schedules!

Jo is passionate about sharing this technique after experiencing the immense benefits it had on her own life. She loves debunking the myth that meditation is difficult and inspiring people to begin meditating regularly.

Handstand Foundations

This workshop is for students and teachers who can hold a handstand against the wall but can only free balance sometimes, as well as beginners who are new to being upside down.

Liz will lead you through an hour long warm up including breath-work, wrist preparation and handstand principles like; how to use your core, and access the strength of your shoulder girdle safely and effectively. 

You'll learn to work with gravity, breath and the support of the earth, to find your confidence and orientation upside down, overcoming fear with awareness and steadiness of mind.

Liz is a physiotherapist, yoga teacher, yoga therapist, and the Anatomy & Physiology teacher on our Yoga Teacher Training Programs. She is the perfect guide to help you progress in your handstands no matter your previous experience or ability.

Heart Beats - A Yin & Sound Healing Workshop

This workshop is a unique collaboration between our very own Em Cruickshank and special guests Steve Mazabow & Vanessa Forbes of Heart Sounds Music Therapy.

Em will guide you through a balancing Yin Yoga practice that will work through the Governor & Conception Vessel Meridians, while you are wrapped up in the healing vibrations of the didgeridoo, voice, gong and flute. These vibrations will release Qi blockages and provide you with deep healing.

Each student will have an incredibly personal experience - none the same. Each student will experience the didgeridoo played over their bodies - a personal intake of healing vibrations. Journalling at the end will ensure the practice is personalised.

You will leave feeling inspired, rejuvenated and clear.

Please wear comfy clothes, bring warm socks or your favourite scarf - anything you need to feel cosy. The studio is fully equipped with mats, bolsters, blankets and blocks - however, you're more than welcome to bring your own if you wish.
