“Trauma informed yoga is people informed yoga, because you may not realise it but it’s always present in your ( yoga ) room. The statistics make this really clear. In Australia, and this is a conservative estimate, because these things often go unreported, it’s 5 million adults who are currently living with unresolved childhood trauma, that’s roughly 1 in 4. And that’s just childhood trauma, we know that there is lots of trauma that happens as adults as well. ”
